HOW IT ALL STARTED

Holachal was inspired by a transformational time living in Costa Rica. What started as a fun greeting with close friends quickly evolved into a WhatsApp group chat name, evolving into a place where we could share music, encouragement, and our latest creations with each other. This inspired us to create a brand that embodies this feeling of freedom, creativity and connection, and to build a broader community that also celebrates courage, filled with people who are carving their own path and living a creative life.

As an artist, Mitch builds bridges between surf lifestyle and abstract forms and aims to elevate the space and people who come across his work. Like a constant camera shutter taking in information, he holds onto key shapes and colors that find their way into a future piece. His concepts gravitate towards landscape, pulling from memories of places, sights and sounds to capture a feeling of freedom, rhythm and movement.
